Like many rat fanciers I spend hours online looking for the latest information on my favorite furry friends, and on the clubs that are out there. For the most part much of the information is old and updates are slow to come and new information sometimes hard to find at best.

Mimzy is beginning to look tennis ball tummied again. That brazen hussy - she's be sneaking out of the cage; she fits through the FN bars. She won't be hanging with the big girls any more!!! Got to put a stop to her wanton ways; I've still got the 8 babies from the last litter she had!

Pre-Alpha 105: Advanced Colony Defense

So here in our lovely home filled with wonderful furry creatures we had an unexpected new arrival. A while back we adopted 6 very sweet ratties from someone who didn't want them anymore. He was keeping 5 females and one male in the same small cramped cage. We went to pick them up and 2 had given birth by the time we got there, and 2 of the other females were very very pregnant and gave birth shortly after being here. The oldest female was too old to have babies so she was the only one to not have a litter.

I found this site while looking for some stuff for my boys. I found it cute and humorous, especially the "find a rat beeper".

three days ago we realized little Miss Mimzy wasn't just getting chubby - ugh, Mom that's a PREGNANT belly. We were all like how did that happen? She hasn't been with any boys? Yesterday she had 10 babies. 2 didn't make it, the one was half the size of the others, and the other one, who knows why. So we have 8 new squeakers, 1 new mommie, 2 happy grandparent ratties, and 9 others. Oy, 20 rats. And we were cutting back our numbers!!!

So I haven't been online too much lately, had to quit my job the other day, but I have been job hunting and spending more of my free time with my ratties. oH THEY ARE SOOOO LOVELY, found out my baby is a BOY :) and now hopefully i can just find a job to support myself, the baby and my 4 lovely rats. Anyone have any job advice?
